A
new 75,000 sq ft store was commissioned by Alaska on a former car dealership
site, as part of the design dga had to overcome difficult site constraints
including having to move a small river cutting the site in half, and low
rise domestic development along one boundary of the site. The design responds
to the scale of the adjoining developments which led to the curved roof design.
