Stephen has been a practicing architect since qualification in 1977 and has extensive experience in new build, refurbishment projects and Planning Supervision. Stephen's particular fields of expertise are in healthcare design and hospital planning and construction risk assessment, both here and abroad.

Stephen is a member of the R.I.B.A. the Association for Project Safety and a past Chairman of the Shropshire Society of Architects. Post qualification experience took Stephen to the design offices of the Oxford Regional Health Authority where he developed his career in healthcare design including district general hospitals and related facilities.

On moving to Shrewsbury he continued with healthcare and general design projects, both in the UK and Middle East including; traditional and PFI healthcare projects; residential design and refurbishment projects; works to Listed Buildings; dental and child care nursery projects; specialist therapy projects and the provision of Planning Supervision services compliant with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994.
